Course Overview

This self-paced e-learning course is designed for quality professionals, managers and auditors who already have a working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and need to understand the changes introduced in ISO 9001:2026.

The course focuses on the revised requirements, their implications for existing Quality Management Systems (QMS) and the practical actions organisations should take to achieve a successful transition.

Rather than revisiting established quality management principles, learners will explore the key differences between the two editions, consider their impact on existing processes and documentation, and identify opportunities to strengthen QMS effectiveness.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

  • Identify and explain the key changes introduced in ISO 9001:2026.

  • Interpret the revised requirements and their implications for an existing QMS.

  • Evaluate where existing processes, procedures and documented information may need updating.

  • Identify appropriate actions to address revised requirements.

  • Develop a practical transition action plan to support implementation and ongoing improvement.

This course is intended for:

  • Quality managers and QMS owners.

  • Internal and external management system auditors.
